Early on, Adam Blake, founder of Cru Golf began his lifelong love of the game of golf after receiving
his first set of clubs at the age of four. From playing on local courses in his home state of Colorado
to the courses he visited on family vacations in Arizona, his passion for golf was even further fueled
by idolizing golf greats such as Freddie Couples. There was rarely a time he was not seen out on the
course or range pursuing his love of the game. After college he began to focus on his golf career and
became a PGA assistant golf professional at Dallas National Golf Club. From 2005-2009, he played
competitively on golfs mini-tour circuit, with his last pro event in 2009 at the Canadian Tour q
school.
In the fall of 2010, Adam and his college friend wanted to create a product for golfers that could
withstand the test of time in terms of style and durability and thus the beginnings of Cru Golf began
to emerge. A year later, the design idea of quality golf accessories transitioned into the first
prototypes for their line of vintage leather headcovers.
Today, operating Cru Golf has given him new goals to focus on within the golf industry. He enjoys
the challenges and rewards associated with the business. A strong network of family and friends
have been instrumental in the launching and success of Cru Golf. As the journey continues, his desire
at Cru is to create and refine the highest quality leather golf products for those who share his passion
for the game.
